A comprehensive white-paper analysis of technical barriers, design considerations, and high-performance solutions in cosmetic filling lines.
The production of liquid eyeliners and heavy mascaras presents some of the most complex fluid dynamic challenges in the cosmetics packaging industry. These products are not simple, free-flowing liquids. They are highly structured, thixotropic emulsions filled with dense color pigments (such as carbon black or iron oxides), film-forming polymers, volatile solvents, and structural waxes.
Standard cosmetic filling machines fail to maintain fill-weight accuracy because these formulas undergo dramatic viscosity shifts when subjected to shear force. If the pumping process is too aggressive, the emulsion structure breaks down, ruining the formulation’s integrity. If the shear rate is too low, the highly viscous paste will clog the nozzles, leading to incomplete fills and unacceptable product reject rates.
Our state-of-the-art custom automatic eyeliner mascara filling machines address these problems through servo-driven, positive-displacement ceramic piston pumps and specialized temperature-controlled supply hoppers. By maintaining precise, gentle pressure and a constant temperature environment, our machinery ensures that the product flows smoothly from formulation hopper to cosmetic vial without structural degradation or dripping.
Unlike open jars or wide-mouth perfume bottles, mascara and liquid eyeliner containers feature narrow-neck geometries. Before capping, a flexible wiper (or rubber insert) must be inserted into the neck of the container to clear excess product from the applicator brush upon use. An automatic line must not only fill the high-viscosity formulation cleanly, but it must also press this wiper securely into place and thread the delicate applicator cap to a highly specific torque setting, preventing leakage and evaporation of volatile solvents over the product's shelf life.
How we design machinery to handle product loading, high-viscosity dosing, automatic wiper insertion, and precise torque capping.
We eliminate product aeration and trapped air bubbles inside narrow cosmetic vials. Our nozzles descend to the bottom of the bottle and slowly lift during the filling cycle, matching the rise of the liquid volume in real-time.
Improperly seated wipers can cause product leaks or ruin applicator brushes. Our rotary system integrates high-resolution industrial cameras to verify the presence and seating depth of every single wiper prior to capping.
Over-tightened caps can crack delicate cosmetic plastics, while loose caps cause product dry-out. Our magnetic clutch or servo-driven capping heads apply precise, programmable torque with automatic reject mechanisms.

Unlocking cost efficiencies, rapid customization, and robust industrial supply chain networks for high-end global beauty corporations.
Located in the Gaoyou and Guangzhou industrial corridors, we have immediate access to high-grade raw materials (SUS316L, SUS304 pharmaceutical stainless steel) and precision components. This helps minimize lead times for custom tooling, star wheels, and nozzle nozzles.
Cosmetics packaging changes frequently. Our local engineering team can design, prototype, and manufacture custom-shaped pucks, rotary dial systems, and filling heads for complex containers much faster than Western competitors.
By pairing advanced domestic manufacturing with components from top-tier global brands (such as Festo, Omron, SMC, and Schneider), we deliver reliable, high-speed machines at a fraction of the cost of European equivalents.
Adapting to the fast-moving cosmetics market through modular machine designs, smart sensors, and automated clean-in-place (CIP) protocols.
The global beauty landscape is shifting toward smaller batches, quick product changeovers, and clean beauty formulations. Traditional, single-purpose filling lines are becoming obsolete. Modern factories need versatile machinery that can switch from filling a water-resistant liquid eyeliner to a thick fiber mascara in under 30 minutes.
To support these requirements, we design our automatic filling systems with modular parts, quick-clamp connections, and recipe-driven PLC touchscreens. This allows operators to run different product sizes and formulas with minimal mechanical adjustments.
Additionally, as clean cosmetics formulas rely on fewer synthetic preservatives, maintaining hygienic standards is critical. Our automatic eyeliner mascara filling machines feature cleanroom-compatible enclosures, HEPA laminar flow filtration, and automated sanitization loops to ensure every batch is filled in a sterile, compliant environment.
Engineering equipment that meets stringent FDA, CE, and GMP specifications for reliable performance across all international markets.
For multinational brands and high-throughput OEM/ODM plants, purchasing packaging machinery involves rigorous compliance and safety testing. SINAEKATO machines are built to meet the most demanding regulatory criteria:
All metal parts in direct contact with the product formulation are fabricated from high-grade SUS316L stainless steel. All seal materials and gaskets are made from FDA-grade PTFE or silicone, preventing contamination.
Our electrical layouts, safety interlocks, and emergency stop circuits comply with European CE safety standards and UL specifications, ensuring safe operation for technicians.
We supply complete Design Qualification (DQ), Installation Qualification (IQ), and Operational Qualification (OQ) documentation packages to support internal validation processes.
